ARMIN THOMAS, CO-FOUNDER and CO-HOST
Armin was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Lexington, MA. During his childhood he was very apolitical, preferring playing the piano and reading Lord of the Rings. Once the 2016 election was underway, though, he realized the important role of journalism as a watchdog against our political leaders. Armin entered Yale College in the fall of 2017. Armin co-founded The Patriot Report to strengthen the influence of an independent press, and to try to inject objectivity into an increasingly polarized culture. At Yale, Armin is also a Fellow of the William F. Buckley Jr. Program, a political initiative that seeks to exhibit conservative viewpoints in the midst of a predominantly liberal campus culture. Outside of politics, Armin is an avid musician, playing in orchestras and chamber ensembles. He is also interested in history, Shakespeare, and biology.

LOUIS GOUNDEN, CO-HOST
The son of immigrants, Louis is a proud first generation American from Boston, MA. Growing up, when not debating everyone he could or wrangling votes in a Model UN crisis simulation, Louis spilt his time between quoting the Great Gatsby and the Catcher in the Rye at his friends, and his sports of Cross Country, Wrestling, and Crew. From an early age, Louis was interested in Politics and International Relations, with a focus on Human Rights and National Security. During his final two years of high school he audited classes at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He entered the University of St. Andrews in 2018 studying International Relations, and has interned for US Senator Elizabeth Warren. Louis is an Independent, and strives to examine each policy, and candidate, on their merits without prejudice. Beyond politics, Louis loves travel, sushi, and the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.
